The Set

The Santa Monica show tomorrow marks my 356th show with this band. People often ask why we didn’t play certain songs in a set list – i respond that there’s too many good ones to fit them all in one set. Basically there’s a handful we absolutely have to play (we didn’t do Love My Way for a few gigs until fans were rather bent out of shape over its absence) and then the set rotates back catalog, deep cuts and the occasional cover around that core. Turns out the pool is about 55 songs in the last 8 years – most albums get a good showing with only Book of Days having a low attendance… What would be your dream set?
